Meet the Writer

Hello! My name is Somni, or just any variation of my username, cherricxr. I'm a sophomore in college studying to be a fashion designer and entrepreneur of my own j-fashion brand. I've been studying j-fashion cultures and history since I was in middle school, and I've now decided to share this passion with those around me as well!

On this blog, I hope to post education posts about all kinds of j-fashion communities. I want to discuss their history, culture, lifestyles, and the communities that surround them. On this blog, you'll also be sure to find style guides, life updates, and stories from my own journey as someone who cycled through many j-fashion styles before finally finding the culture (and aesthetic) that truly felt like 'me'. 

I'm looking forward to sharing my story with you all, as well as providing insights into all sorts of communities out there! I'm so excited to have you here for me with this, and I hope you enjoy reading it as well.
